THEATRE
An accomplished and highly sought after leading lady, Joanne has played leading roles in numerous West End productions.
Joanne played Sandy in Grease at London's Victoria Palace Theatre, followed by a successful season in Japan, performing in Tokyo and Osaka. She played Stephanie in Saturday Night Fever at the London Palladium, one of London's most prestigious theatres. Joanne was an original member of the British cast of Smokey Joe’s Cafe and was the sole British member of the 56 strong Broadway cast of Showboat at the Prince Edward Theatre as Ellie-May. She played Janet in The Rocky Horror Show at the Duke of York’s Theatre and reprised her role for the Rocky Horror Celebration when the show was welcomed back to the Royal Court Theatre as the 'People's Choice'. She played Annie Borrowman in Never Forget at the Savoy Theatre.
Other leading roles in the West End include City of Angels, Dames at Sea, Jesus Christ Superstar and Singin' in the Rain.
TELEVISION
Joanne’s television work is very recognisable, having appeared in numerous high profile UK dramas.
She was nominated as "Best Bitch in a Soap" for her portrayal of hotel owner Sarah Jane Harvey in the popular UK soap Crossroads and went on to play firefighter Nicki Higgins in Steel River Blues where she performed her own stunts.
Other television drama roles include in Waking the Dead, Cold Feet, Heartbeat and Dream Team along with comedy productions Barbara, Loved By You and Baby Cow's Combat Sheep.
British films include Hospital! and Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis.
MUSIC
Joanne has performed as a solo artist on television, on radio and in concert, from the Royal Albert Hall to venues across the world. Joanne has sung with the BBC Concert Orchestra and performed to an audience of 100,000 people at London’s Party in the Park in Hyde Park. She also represented Great Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest alongside ‘Scooch’ for which they received an outstanding 19 points!!
As a session/studio vocalist she has recorded vocals for a diverse range of artists, from Robbie Williams to Bring me the Horizon. Joanne recorded the songs of Dame Shirley Bassey on the album Totally James Bond and has provided vocals for commercials for some of the UK's biggest brands including Sainsbury's, 118 118, Daily Mail, AA Roadside, The Sun, Go Ahead & Muller Corners.
PRESENTING
Joanne has worked all over Europe as a presenter covering both television and live events.
As a corporate presenter, she has worked closely with Fujitsu and Canon and spent time at the Research and Development centre in Sweden with Scania, fronting their recorded and live events.
Other clients include BP, RBS, Coutts, Deloitte, Ernst and Young, Macdonalds, Diagio UDV, Opal, and Disney.
PRODUCING
Joanne's love of music and performance has lead her to create her own portfolio of bespoke shows which she now produces on request.
Joanne also works with production companies from overseas to advise on the casting of UK Creatives and Talent for international productions.
